Sarah Clewer and Zachariah Jaques
Zachariah Jaques was christened on 22 Mar 1818 in Baddesley Ensor, Warwickshire, England. He died in 1852 in St. Louis, St. Louis, Missouri. He married Sarah Clewer on 28 Nov 1841 in Foleshill, Warwickshire, England. Sarah Clewer was born on 6 Oct 1815 in Foleshill, Warwickshire, England. She was christened on 5 Nov 1815 in Foleshill, Warwickshire, England. She died on 10 Mar 1883 in Nephi, Juab, Ut. Zachariah and Sarah had four children together: Mary Maria Jaques, Sarah Ann Jaques, Josiah Jaques and Hannah Maria Jaques
There is controversy over which of these pictures is Ann Grimshaw. The picture on the left has traditionally been regarding as Ann by descendants of William Jackson. However, Debbie Firkins has contacted a relative of Martha Jackson (Samuel Jackson's Sister) who identified the picture on the right as Ann. Read Debbie's research update for more information.
